In anyone else doing anything at Burning Life this year?

Here's what I built...

It's a huge lava powered clock. A drill extracts lava from the ground, the lava travels up a pipe that splits - one path goes to a sterling engine the other to the top of the machine. The lava at the top goes into some chutes that fill tubes numbered 1-12. if it's approaching 6 o'clock tubes 1-6 fill, the fill level indicating the minutes. At the hour, the tube opens dropping out the tubes that filled and the lava hits the ground and explodes, the tubes close and the tubes for the next hour start filling.

I believe one of the top level people in burning life this year is one of our residents. Other than that I haven't heard much in the way of anyone doing anything this year.

ooh! wonderful ! I shall try to get there this week to see it. If anyone else wants to post that they've got work there, it would be appreciated as I always end up with sensory overload if I don't have a goal to look for...
or something...
Post your work!

It's purdy! Though I was struck by a terrible thirst, standin' next to lava...in the middle of the desert...with the sun bakin' down...A little shade wouldn't go amiss and perhaps not directly under the clock.

A grand job sir, well done!

That looks excellent Elfod, and warrants a return to BL and another look around.

Meadow and I had a look yesterday but were distinctly underwhelmed by AM Radio's contribution (well I was anyway), which seemed to be a hotch-potch of recycled ideas, impressed by Jenne Dibou's take on the American Dream, a little frustrated by some fella's attempt to recreate the 'impossible' works of MC Escher in 3D (thus surely completely missing the point) before we stumbled through some dance tent that came across as a temporary version of the Shelter, then found some broken portaloos before the lag killed us =(

Would be interested in anyone else's suggestions for other exhibits worth checking out, for when we go see Elfod's and Hotspur's efforts?

Someone actually tried recreating Escher in 3D?
