New Babbage

A Steampunk Community

With the tremendous help of Miss Ceejay Writer and of course our fantastic speakers, the Edited and Unedited versions of the Exhibitions Salon are now available here and Miss Writer is no longer accepting my telegrams.

This was an amazing salon - if you missed it, check the transcript out - you'll see, as with all of the salons and transcripts, the amazing wealth of knowledge on a broad range of topics we have here in New Babbage and throughout the Steamlands.

Thank you again to Miss Breezy Carver and Mr. Aeolus Cleanslate!

Stay tuned for more exciting news from the Salon in the coming days!

I'll accept your telegrams. It's the passenger pigeons that are becoming a bother. Please desist! Was happy to help, and Sera needed a break. 'sides, I hear she's still hepped up on British Hard Cider and it's hard to edit when you're seeing double.

Every salon I've attended has been fun! More than that, educational in the best sense... learning something and enjoying it!

I'm sorry I had to miss this one. I find the 1893 World Fair and the nefarious Mr. Holmes quite fascinating. ((And I keep picturing Mr. Holmes' "castle" as a great inspiration piece for a Halloween house of horrors, which probably says something scary about me. *grin*))
