Last night, Jed took me on a tour of her favourite sci-fi and cyber punk regions and I must say I had a wonderful time looking around scummy future visions with creepy robots scanning me, but the highlight had to be one of the best builds I have come across, in what seemed to me to be a complete reproduciton of Serenity from the Firefly TV series/film/comic/blah complete down to the shuttle, and Kaylee's cabin. I was speechless, well nearly.

I had a wonderful time and owe Jed a massive thankyou for taking the time and of course for being the brave soul who opened the auction.

Sounds like a fun trip. Did you make it to SIC or Auntie's place? And while it's primarily a shopping mall, I've got to say Thomus & Destany's vision of the post-apocalyptic side of steampunk is quite inspired, now taking over 3 full regions of weathered industrial goodness.... mmmm, weathered industrial goodness.

I blogged about Washburne and Londinium back in August but I think there are about three Firefly ships I've seen on the grid, each a little different in quality. I remember one of them didn't take into account the taller than normal stature of most SL AVs :-)
