Nestled in the SE corner of Babbage Canals stands our three story public library. Built by the talented Miss Canolli Capalini, this beautiful building houses 15 packed bookcases of books, a whimsical steampunk kiosk and a slightly battered stove with cookbooks inside. Please, check out the books.
To get a book, touch the shelf and a blue menu appears on your screen. Select the book you desire and it is given to you. Take as many books as you wish and they are yours forever. To read the book, rez the book and touch the book. Through the magic of the aethernet you are taken to the 19th publication. Please be a good citizen and take the rezzed book with you when you are done.
Miss Capalini has designed different reading areas in the library: you may sit nestled in a tree or in front of a fireplace.
The Burton even houses a secret room on the third floor with mysterious doings inside.
Have a hankering to discuss a book? Tell a story? Give a presentation? Send me a note or im and I'd love to help you organize it.

He was a king, a seer and a poet. He was a lord with a manifold and great train. He was our magician, our knowledgeable one, our soothsayer. All that he did was sweet with him. And, however ye deem my testimony of Fionn excessive, and, although ye hold my praising overstrained, nevertheless, and by the King that is above me, he was three times better than all I say. {Saint PATRICK}.

Her lectures and tales feature brave heroics and wonder tales from the Celtic regions, Welsh lore including the tales of Arthur and Merlin, stories of the wise and the uncanny from Scotland, and folklore from England comprised of local legends that combine references to beliefs and customs and aspects of daily life, particularly rural life (as well as the English ballads and broadsides, which have a strong tradition of their own.)
This month, she'll tell us tales of transformations and enchanted spouses. Join us to hear stories that turn princes into swans and wives into seals, as well as legends of lovers who come and go in the dark, and all manner of supernatural sweethearts.
