Fantastic, Mr Oller! Perhaps we can make the upcoming Airship Regatta the first official Aethernautical Society event?

does this include air balloons, as well?

Indeed Capt. Red, we welcome any steampunk flying craft, and lighter than air craft, being my personal favorite are especially welcome! :)

Wonderful!I've been an interested pilot for some time, mainly participating with the Royal Caledon Air Force. It's good to se a flying group taking off in New Babbage (pun intended)!

I was wondering if a heavier-than-air machine might be suitable. I have an aerial conveyance invented by Messrs Wright that I have been flying for some little while. It is a little underpowered by the infernal explosion engine, but I hope soon to install a compact powerful steam plant that should make a distinct improvement in performance.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be allowed good sir! It an interesting little craft isn't it? And I do agree that you would greatly benefit from installing that steam power plant!

I have a question. I could IM Mr. Cleanslate about specifics but I thought I'd first ask here on the ning.

I'm not sure about participating in the Regatta or being a spectator. I have a small vessel (actually a couple) that I could enter and fly. I'm not a builder and didn't make them; they were purchased. Also, I'm a lousy pilot and am not interested in any competitive aspect of this.

The thing is, my craft are fairly unique. Definitely steampunk. There's a good chance not many have seen them, so simply parading one or both to show them off might be fun.

So, being new in town, I'd appreciate a little feedback. Thanks!

Mr. Mandelbrot, I'm sure that that your crafts will be welcome in the Regatta! The more the merrier I always say!
