In the spirit of community, I earnestly beseech all Citizens of New Babbage to take just a few minutes out of their day to do a great service for our wonderful city. We have our very own static information area that is in need of much help. Yes, the ning is a great resource, but important information can easily be lost in the tide of heavy posting days. Please go to The New Babbage Wiki and register. Once you have registered, search for your own name (your SL name that is). Once you do that, click the little link that says "add entry" and fill in your character's biography. Once you have done this, somewhere at the bottom, add this exact string of characters [[Category:Biographies]] this code will ensure that your information is listed in the correct place.* You may add formatting to your entry or not. I will be checking every day and will gladly do my best to format your entry if you would like me to. There are a couple of helpful links at the bottom of this note for you as well.

- What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
- I had been searching around for ideas concerning some fiction I am planning to write when I came across this ning. After looking at the photos, I just had to see it in world. I had been in SL back in 2007 (but not steampunk), and had milled about around the mainland and quit due to lack of interest. I think I might stay around for quite a while now though as I have toured the city and met some very interesting and polite people.
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- I am an anthropologist and explorer looking to retire and write my memoirs. I might even have the chance and mind to write other things as well. I will be taking the time to work with the wonderfully talented citizens here to help better the New Babbage Wiki. I have just a few things to say and did not want to clutter the forums with it, so please read on and bear with me.
1. I am looking for a place to stay. I know that there are several of you that are involved in renting out rooms and/or homes.
