- What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
- My foremost reason for settling in New Babbage is the people I've met there. The creative milieu is stimulating and supportive. My own design direction is inspired by Mr. Verne and those who influenced him, such as the French Naval architect Dupuy Delome.
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- Having run away to sea at age 12, I've seen much of the world - the unusual places and people, the strange creatures and the variety of cultures. These things have broadened my acceptance of diversity and shattered my belief in the commonly accepted norms of State and religion. This does not mean that I have become a rogue or outlaw for I value a sense of order and amity too highly for that. Rather, my mind is freed from those norms to pursue new possiblities, technologies and social structures.
