Gaslit never seemed to have moved from the still building stage whenever I would pop over to see what had been added. Could have been a nice sim if it ever got started.

I was going to move it to 3SLT this month but the opening to DJ Victor's Podshock party came up so I'll be playing over there. You're welcome to drop by :-)

Now, where did I leave that Queen's crown? I know a pawnbrokers in Clockhaven that could sell you one cheap.

Gorgeous stuff. I'll have to pop over and check the primcount. I don't suppose there's a fee to add in customised titles? :-)

We'd briefly mentioned some other sims who should or shouldn't be added to to the list in the staff forum over there recently. Whether the Miskatonic Valley should be approached was mine. I'm sure Mr. Longstaff would be happy to add Armada into th...

Now you've blossomed into a mouthy little guttersnipe with a penchant for anarchy and rats :-)

Might I suggest you drop by the Virtual recreation of the WWI trenches. Some brilliant stories recorded there and some great poetry. http://primperfectblog.wordpress.com/2009/11/10/unique-international-collaboration-commemorates-remembrance-day-i...

What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
I was one of the founders of New Babbage when a group in Caledon was discussing the location of an urban steampunk sim. New Babbage has grown from a group of individuals doing their own thing to a community that is building on each other's ideas. It's nice to see it flourish.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Edward Pearse, Duke of Argylle & Earl of Primbroke, resides with his wife Christine McAllister in Edison.

Owner of Pearse'd & Cut Gentlemen's outfitters, with a penchant for uniforms. The shop in New Babbage was the 2nd of the Pearse'd & Cut locations.

Flying enthusiast, builder, texturer and pedant with a large helping of sarcastic humour added to the mix.

Presenter and forming member of Radio Riel

The actual Primgraph Press

Back in June I finished the offices for the Primgraph Press. At the time it was mused that it would be lovely if the Primgraph actually did have a Press.

In my spare time since I've dabbled with creating one. I had very little knowledge of how one worked. I knew how a Gutenberg press worked and I'd seen some very modern presses that sped a newspaper through in a matter of seconds. But, thanks to the aetherweb I… Continue

Oh the times, they are a changin'

After discovering an old map of the unterraformed Wheatstone Waterways in my inventory I decided to throw together a quick and dirty gif showing some of the changes that New Babbage has gone through since I started recording maps of the place.

The date sequence is as follows:

2nd April 2008… Continue

Most amazing sculpt ever

Miss Emilly brought my attention to a sculpt display called the Grand Odalisque.

Possibly the most impressive sculpt I have seen in SL. For the most part sculpts are a mystery to me though the Aviatrix of Loch Avie is making them less so. I'm sure if I invested copious quantities of cash in various software applications I could do them with ease, or struggle through with free stuff like Wi… Continue

Off to brave the wilds of a Convention

Just to let you know my typist shall be out of touch away until next week helping run Continuum.

Not that I've been inworld much this week anyway. He's been specifically away from the house sewing trying to get his costume finished. Sewing somewhere else negates the siren call of the intarwebs.

Once the buttonholes have been sewn onto the tunic, the car will be backed and we're away.

Don't burn the place down while I'm away.

Thank you, Mr. Duke! I almost curled up to sleep by your soot ball window display last night, but decided that would be Unbecoming.

Ooh, someone else here knows what a Deryni is! *grin* If you check out my more recent story blogs on my Ning page and on Zachary Somerset's, or if you read our Wiki bios, you'll see where the "Deryni-ness" comes into my backstory. Basically, our personae hail from an alternate-universe, 19th Century Steampunk Gwynedd descended from the Gwynedd of Kelson's time.

BTW, I ran into Katherine Kurtz in the hallway at Dragon*Con this weekend. She was entering the Food Court as I was leaving. *grin*

Salutations fellow colonial. I'd invite you to drop in for tea, but I am afraid I don't yet have a residence.

Yeah, I need to go back and read the Deryni books myself...especially given that I'm supposed to be one.... *grin*

You should've seen me up on Moses' build platform a few months ago, as a newbie builder trying to figure out how to make ward cubes and transparent wards. At one point I looked like a translucent turtle!
