Just realized I'm double booked...make that triple booked for this evening. I promise to try to make the next training! Oh, I did pull out the handy dandy fire hose the other night in Caledon....seems there was an urchin soaping my conservatory wi...

I'm planning on being there for the parade. Just let me know and I'll find my uniform - though the lag will be so heavy using those particle fire hoses probably will not be a good idea.

Fighting fires, shopping for frocks, serving tea (with rum), the ladies brigade is ready for anything!

What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
Being as I'm a friend with Miss Red and Miss Serafina, I tend to wander over to New Babbage to catch up on the gossip - I mean "news" and to shop. Somewhere along the way, I have volunteered for the Ladies Fire Brigade. My friend, Mr. Hassanov, was so intrigued by this new job, he made us all a fire hose for our department. Came in handy for our first fire that destroyed an art gallery.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Governess, Teacher and Librarian of Independent Means. Thanks to the lovely inheritance from my late husband, Sir Arthur Aberconwy, I first settled in Winterfell Laundanum and Caledon II as Merry Widow. (Please disregard any rumors that we Merry Widows "offed" our dearly beloved's!) Caledon II is my home for the Anderton Estates with my big white Victorian home and gardens. I help out the Caledon Libraries when I can - the Steampunk Collection was organized into spreadsheets by myself and Miss Serafina. My heart belongs to Winterfell where now I guard the Winterfell Harbor, home to mystical Celtic stories. The Harbor is a snow covered wild place waiting for the mists to clear. What will be found behind the veils of snow and ice will be a mystical adventure. I putter around with building a bit, visiting with neighbors and friends, and my first love - shopping! Though I must warn all readers, I have been known to blow up front porches, garden mazes, and even a huge stone causeway. I really need to keep those kegs of gunpowder stored deep in a Winterfell cave but I do love to play with my array of cannons. Drop by and visit for tea in Caledon or a goblet of brandy in Winterfell. The fires are always burning and the lamps lit.
