RenFaire types fall for this too. I swear, I've seen more fluttery-winged demi-fae at various RenFaires RL than I've ever seen on the grid--and there are a lot of fluttery wings on the grid!
The key point is to be able to ask yourself "What would the *character* do?" rather than just reacting.

There's such a thing as *too* simple, how'ver--my oft-repeated character description over the years is one word: "Shapeshifter". Less people than you might think get that. :)

- I have this odd thing. People keep inviting me to Nings, I keep ignoring them. I shouldn't, but maintaining two blogs (of the five I actually have), two web pages, an in-world presence *and* a real life gets taxing. :)
