Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
I blew into Babbage on a lazy sea breeze and wandered aimlessly before several chance encounters that convinced me to stay. I brought with me my jeweler's kit and leatherworking apron, and most importantly, my love of the ocean and all its scaly and tentacle'd creatures.

Hello Miss Quan! I do indeed have a fascination for sea creatures! Narwhals, dugongs, nautilus, cuttlefish and of course all the cephalopods are among my favourites! Be sure to pop along to my little shop above the Bakery at Loner Lane to see the Clockwork Cephalopods, they are just about as cute as a squid can get! ;)

OMG! I LOVE Haeckel's drawings!!! I have them on my office wall as I type this! In fact, if you look closely at the scientific classification label on the squid jar, the cephalopod at the bottom is from a Haeckel drawing! That picture was my inspiration for the clockwork cephalopod. Another fave of his work is the black and white Barnacles, that would make such terrific wallpaper in RL, don't you think?! But they are all very beautiful, he was an incredibly talented artist, and as controversial as Darwin in his theories and studies. I love the fact that they are exquisite works of art, but at the same time, amazing, anatomically correct (for the most part) studies. I will certainly get cracking on our Cephalopod Society and we will have Ernst Haeckel as our hero and mascot! Yay! :-) see you soon! M.

Yes I was wondering where you had wandered off to. Down time does lead to grand productivity I've noticed. Do take care and hope to see you soon.

Any sudden disappearances are always understandable! But, it is your sudden appearances that bring most smiles. :-) see you soon!
