I have always been Steampunk before it was called that. I grew up with antiques and antiquities never knowing that someday I would look at them in a whole new light.
I am also a Toy Soldier in Dr. Steel's Army of Toy Soldiers. My current rank is Captain.
I can fly and air ship and learned at the tender age of 10 how to do so.
I love goggles! I am a big kid at heart and sometimes in body. I forget my age all the time.
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- I am a 23 year old ingenue who seems to have it made. I am a pirate by trade, but no one knows that just yet except for Dr. O who only suspects I have a dark past.
I come from a family of means in France. I am actually half French and half Japanese. My mother is cousin to the Emperor of Japan and my father is brother to the Duke of Normandy.
I am well educated and studied in England and France. I was educated in the sciences including, mechanical engineering, medicine and chemistry.
While growing up in France, I studied medieval armaments, defense, fencing, archery, how to ride and can use a broad sword.
I was to have an arranged marriage to a Shogun in Japan whom I had never met to keep my mother's side happy. I had never been to Japan and did not like the idea of any kind of arranged marriage so I stowed away on a cargo ship set for Spain.
On the way to Spain, I was discovered but before anything could be done about me, we were attacked by pirates at sea. Having weapons training, I defended myself and my honor to the extent that the pirate captain asked me to join his crew as part of the boarding party. He was not the least worried about my being female since he saw my skill with a sword first hand.
I sailed with the pirates terrorizing the Spanish coast (all in the name of the Queen (Victoria) as long as we shared our booty with her) for a couple of years until I grew wealthy enough on my own to retire from the life of piracy.
I wandered Europe (staying away from Normandy since I am still not sure if they are still looking for me or not) eventually going to Spain (since I have so much of their gold I thought I might as well see the country) where I toured the Armories.
I met a master blacksmith in Spain who forged me the ultimate pirate sword made out of carbon steel. The design, which is a cross between a cutlass and a broadsword with a perfect waited pummel, just small enough to be used in tight quarters on ships. It has a cross guard in the shape of a bone and a hand guard in the shape of a sea shell. It is one of a kind and designed for me alone. (In RL I do own such a weapon and it was designed for me alone. It is one of a kind!) This beautiful weapon helped me cross the Atlantic Ocean to New Babbage and it reintroduced me to my former career in piracy as I met up with my crew of pirates who had decided to set sail for the Caribbean.
They delivered me safely to New Babbage, where I stashed my treasure. I now have a shop and an apartment located at Wheatston Waterways 206,155,102 right next to the Anarchist's tea house. My shop is called Freqish Imports and I am getting all sorts of weird and unusual imports for sale.
Only the pirates know my location. My family has no idea and I would like to keep it that way, at least for now.
In a recent development, I am now the lab assistant to Dr. O. He has taken me under his wing and is acting as my benefactor to some degree. I deny everything and think he is a good man. He is a good man, really. You just have to get to know him.

Real life interfering with my Second Life and computer time.
It sounds like a letter to Dear Abby or something but I swear it is real.
I lost my real life job in August this year due to a bitchy boss who decided she was going to get rid of me any way she could so she made up some lame story about customer service and fired me. I just received my first unemployment check this last week. If that wasn't bad enough, my husband has been a real cold hearted jerk ever since I lost my job. In the process of buying an island in SL
So, we have this non-profit organization called Pirate Camp, Inc. We have been incorporated for a little over a year and have done nothing since then. The reason for this is that I am the CEO and it seems like the only one who wants to do anything with the company. I come up with ideas on how to promote us. But no one can take a moment out of their daily lives it seems to want to help me. I do pretty much everything. We have had a few board meetings, but only because I call them. Trying to maintain a real life and a Second Life.
My real life has gotten in the way of my Second Life lately. I still want to play on line and do, but I also want to make art objects and clothing to sell in real life. There just isn't enough time to do it all. If only I did not have to sleep, eat, work or poop I am sure I would be able to get a lot more work done.

Sorry for my absence, but I have been creating!
Sorry for my resent absence but I first took a vacation, and now I have started to create things again. I will be on SL intermittently because I have been very busy. Please forgive me but there is only so much time in the day and so much to do....that and I am finally sleeping through the night. I guess the vacation helped a bit with that. I posted pictures!

I need ideas for unusual imported items for my shop.
So, I moved in and now I need to put stuff in my shop to sell. The shop's name is Freqish Imports. Sort of did is off the top of my head when the landlady, Viv, asked me what the name of my shop would be. Well, since I come from over seas, I figured imports would be a good thing.
