This was great fun to watch! Seeing my sister hike her skirts and run is funny, watching the burning barrels, catching glimpses of places I'm starting to recognize and people I know at least by name, it was wonderful and I smiled and laughed watch...

grins... no no. Of worst accidents, there's the one when SOMEone forgets to lock the sandbox floor and it suddenly vanishes, leaving you falling through the air from 700m's . . .

I think one of the lovely things about fashion is that there is room for every type. What one person considers elegant may be considered horrifically ugly by another. My cousin hates pink while I think it is a wonderful color. It is all a matter o...

My first reaction was to burst into laughter! My second reaction was that's fun when someone takes whimsy and builds it in brick. Thanks for sharing!

What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
My good friend and cousin, Canolli Capalini.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Mostly I'd like people to find out about me from speaking to me. However, I will post some general things that one could find out through gossip.

General things to know:

Miss Tomsen is a Mrs. Her spouse is currently at sea. His business takes him traveling quite often. She sees him perhaps once every few months.

Mrs. Tomsen took up sewing as a young woman in a Romanian convent where she was sent after a series of 'unfortunate incidents' involving several suspecious fires. Her sister, Ghilayne Andrew, is only vaguely aware of the incidents.

Mrs. Tomsen creates beautiful gowns for ladies. It is her passion and something she works on constantly. If you meet her, she's probably looking over your clothing, wondering who made them!

She has a sister, Lady Greenwood, Ghilayne Andrew aka Mrs. R. Sands. She is currently the widow of Mr. Race Sands, who recently vanished on a dig in Egypt. He and his wife resided on Isola Gavia in a cottage that she designed.

Mrs. Tomsen has a cousin, Miss Canolli Capalini. Her connection to Olli is very private and they do not generally speak of their first meeting or how they found out they were related.

Kembri's family is the Greenwood family of Isola Gavia. Isola Gavia is the main family estate. Lady Greenwood, Mrs. Sands, is the current owner and chatelaine of the estate.

Mrs. Tomsen's husband owns Potentate's Cove where they have a lovely villa home. She often works there as it is very private and allows her to be in various states of dishabille as needed when crafting a new gown. The Cove is next door to Blisswood, Mrs. Tomsen's flagship store for Greenwood Designs.

She has a shop on Canal Street where odd sounds emanate from the basement level after dark, when fog is rising about the house.

She doesn't keep pets because they have a habit of disappearing.

Once a month she goes into seclusion for three or four days. She calls it her time of reflection, but that really doesn't explain the cage in the attic.

She's a generally cheerful, insightful, intelligent woman who tends to be shy until she gets to know a person.

Is Peacock Place the same lovely pink building we were conversing in front of last evening, or am I thinking of some other building of a similar pale-red hue?
