It's all about stepping back and figuring out what really counts for you, what you put into it and what you want to get out of it, and what expectations you should and shouldn't have of others.

- What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
- New Babbage, to me, is an interesting place for an Urchin. Most of the people here seem to not mind an Urchin being near them, even going as far as talking to me and offering me food and Rum, or Gin, or whatever liquor they seem to have. There's so many places for me to lay & sleep at night without fear of getting caught and forced to leave. Boy this is a brilliant town indeed.
I do like how friendly to Urchins most people are around New Babbage, the Rum and liqour most people give me are very delicious, I do enjoy a good drink when I can get one. New Babbage does have tons of places for a boy like me to sleep or rest if I get tired, most of my favourites seem to be close to the Rail Road, not on the tracks, of course... that wouldn't be to smart for me to do, sleeping on the tracks. A boy could get killed doing that.
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- Skyler Gant never knew what it was like to have a Mother or Father, having spent half his life in a cruel Orphanage and until two years ago, in a Workhouse. Upon escaping Skyler made his way to New Babbage and instantly fell for the town, finding great places to sleep, many nice people offering him food and liquor in most cases, and on the rare occasion a place for him to sleep for the night. Skyler, at nine years of age, has seen countless things no child his age should ever see, yet he swears none of what he saw has affected him in any way.

Taking a slight break. ((OOC))
I'm just going to take a break for awhile from SL. Seems things on SL are getting a bit stressful and... frankly... I've got enough of that in RL. Don't get me wrong, I'm not leaving SL permanently, I will log in for a few minutes to chat with people, see how things are doing, but for now... I just honestly need to take a break for awhile. I've been listening to one particular song on Youtube which got me thinking, what would be my characters soundtrack, something you hear and think "Oh wow, this song reminds me of..." Said person, or even yourself. So... if your character, or someone elses, could have a soundtrack, what would it be? For me... It would have to be LoveFuryPassionEnergy (Lita from WWE's entrance song) For Skyler Gant or Possibly Eamon Blacktail, as the song fits both of them, to be honest.

- Hm. Rum or gin....Well, Cap'n Red's place's got rum, but I don' like it much. The rum, I mean; Cap'n Red's place's right purty, leastways the outside is. I ain't been inside yet. You can prob'ly get rum at the Gangplank as well. Ask Finley; I 'xpect he'd know. Fer choc'late and coffee, there's Miz Ceejay's place, the CocoaJava Cafe. It's got a few s'prises, so ye'll want to 'xplore it some. For more fillin' meals, there's Miss Mara's place in Wheatstone...she feeds kids fer free, and even has an upstairs room where we urchins can sleep. If ya go through her cabinets, there's free clothes and food fer the takin'. And there's a seekrit hangout just fer urchins ta know 'bout, but....*looks around*...I'll whisper it to ya! If you're ever wandering around the Aetherport Tower north of the Palisade, and happen to roam up to Deck Three, I have it on good authority that one of the airships docked there keeps a cookie jar on the top deck just in case urchins should happen by.... *smile*
