What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
I've been a long time lover of science fiction, adventure stories, and the Victorian era. Nothing combines these better than good ol' Victorian Steampunk.

New Babbage is just an inspiring place. The builds are magnificent, and it's citizens welcomed us with open arms when we arrived here.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Mureaux and his companions arrived in New Babbage without fanfare, posing as simple traveling merchants peddling various inventions. However, it was soon revealed that are in fact a noble family from the far off land of Arcania.

Rumors abound concerning the exact purpose for the House of Mureaux's presence in New Babbage ranging from the innocuous to the sinister. One thing is for certain though: The House holds many secrets, and it guards them jealously...

Being Moses Mureaux: A look behind the glowing eyes...

Sometimes I like to lay out what I intend to do along side what I've done. Sometimes I find I'm right on course. Other times I find I've veered off a bit. Of course, veering off might not be a bad thing, so I don't always find myself wanting to straighten the wheel.

Take Moses for instance. Few know that he was intended to be a villain at first. I designed his look to be creepy and off putting. However, after getting to know a few of the town folk, I realized I'd missed the mark in the creepine… Continue

Random Thoughts No. 1

It occurs to me that I've never done one of my Random Thoughts blogs here. What follows are, and try to keep up with me here, a few random thoughts from my day. I won't say what was happening when these thoughts occurred to me, because it's not important.

Feel free to take these thoughts and see where, if any place, they take you.

• If all the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players, then I can name a few acts of my story that could use a re-write.

• What good is it to ke

Roleplay, & how it once was...

Note: This blog is entirely OCC. Parenthesis won't be needed.

I'll start off by saying directly that I'm fully aware that not everyone will agree with what I have to say in this blog, and that is perfectly fine. No harm, no foul. I'll also say that I'm going through the trouble of writing it because I know for a fact that many do. So, to address both sides of that equation, everyone should bear in mind that I'm just one man stating an opinion that everyone is free to agree with, disagContinue

The Arcanian Aether-Hopper

Sometimes, things just work out. I'd had this picture in my mind of an airship that was part single prop plane, and part hot air balloon. It stirred there, always getting pushed back for other projects, but never willing to settle down and be quiet. Honestly, I wanted to build it, but I never seemed to have time. But suddenly, lo' and behold, we have a Hot Air Balloon contest at the monthly ball, and I have an idea that refused to be ignored any longer!

OOC Travel Log: Tickles and Bites...

All work and no play make Moses a very dull irradiated boy. So when Mr. Tinus invited me out to the grand opening of the Tickles and Bites Gallery, with the promise of fanastic exhibits accompanied by the exquisite DJing of one Gabrielle Riel, it was an opportunity to refresh and recharge that I simply couldn't pass up.

Apparently, great minds think alike.. our transmissions crossed in the aether. Always welcome the opportunity for great conversation, sir.. Work can wait, it will always be there. That mind sitting across the table having tea with you, may not always be.

Hello Mr Mureaux! I've noticed that you have a Marker on the walking tour; would you mind dropping a notecard into it describing your property? This notecard will be given to any visitors who take the tour. Also, the tour is having issues presently, but Aeolus and I will work out the bugs soon enough.

Thanks!
