What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
The city brought me.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
For as long as anyone can remember, Mr. Tenk has made nightly his rounds of the city, winding clocks. He also fixes gadgets and odd bits of machinery that are left out, if he has time to spare, and can often be spotted on the rooftops around sunrise.

Mr.Tenk recently won the mayoral elections and can be quite cranky about being coerced into making public appearances.

Permission is given for anyone to use snapshots hosted on my Flickr to promote or archive the City-State of New Babbage.

the winds came up, the trees went down, the power went out.

and i shoulda sent those notecards out earlier.

I am unable to get inworld until my power is restored, which could be up to 5 days if it goes like it usually does after one of these sort of storms. No big worries, life is good until the water stops flowing, and i am a bit of a "gear-do" when it comes to camping equipement so i'm in good shape to ride it out. Will make another attempt to get in world just to get some notes out today.

When Roleplay goes Wrong

I am leaving this mess here as a line in the sand that can be referenced in the future, if need be.

The folks behind the Jack the Ripper murders have packed up the alts and left me a little notecard of apology. I've decided to publish it, not becuase it is justification of what they did, but because it illustrates how absolutely clueless some people can be. Maybe the lightbulb will come on for them later.

A seismic shift in the ground caused the Academy of Industry, while still in its construction phase, to fall to the ground and the very land be swallowed by the sea.
