Profile Information
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- Born a privileged child, Orchid was given everything she wished for and received many years of formal education. She was raised by her father, and her step-mother after they married following the death of her mother during birth. Though her father remained amicable, she always felt as though he found her responsible for his wife's passing. Shortly after her 17th birthday, Orchid's father joined his late wife after losing his battle with tuberculosis. Her step-mother immediately hoarded the family's riches and dissapeared, leaving Orchid with only her clothing and a few lavish posessions. Not wanting to give up her wealthy past, Orchid has wandered for years, sleeping under the open night sky to avoid pawning her precious posessions to afford a room to sleep in. She then heard rumors of Babbage and the opportunity that may await her and headed off to start her new life.

Orchid's Journal - Entry 1
October 6th, Day 5 in Babbage.
I've been in Babbage but 5 days now and have seen quite the spectacular events.
I've not only lifted my head from the alleys at night to a bed covered with silk linens, but I've watched a ship sink under fire, and stared a mummy in the face.
Tonight though, I've had quite the scare. After following the mummy for a ways with Mr. Radek and having the mummy dissapear, an urchin rushed in to speak with us. I, of course, am rather trusting and thought nothing of this… Continue
