- What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
- I came for the most excellent tea-cakes and gunboats, and stayed for the city I found here. While I was not entirely new to the grid when I arrived, my previous excursions elsewhere lacked the steam pressure I require, and so could never be home.
- Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
- I am prone to walking off roofs, falling off the sides of fencing pistes, teleporting directly to the bottoms of canals, and other such struggles with gravity. Pray, do not be alarmed. My condition is not contagious.

A most frightful encounter
Friends, I have just had the most confusing experience! I was walking through Half Moon Alley this afternoon, when I saw some sort of vehicle, not unlike a steam-car, but with no visible steam chamber attached. Stranger still, this steamless-car had a name above it like a person, and as I walked by, it spoke to me!
