What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?

Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
I came to Babbage in search of a better life. A good Professor found me wandering the streets and took me in for some months, teaching me proper etiquette, showing me the world and giving me purpose in this life. Soon after I met Miss Vivian who showed me kindness beyond compare and inspired me to better myself further.

I took to studying the occult and darker arts, while learning to entertain and perform on a variety of levels.

After much growing and many growing pains that come with being a lady going out on her own, I acquired a bit of land in the Palisade and built my tea house as a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life.

My First 12 Hours With Mod Hat

11:31-3:00- Asleep

3:30-8:00- Work

8:00-9:00- Bus ride home

9:00-9:01- Squealed with delight, got into PJs and made some noodle concoction for breakfast (my lunch).

9:10-10:00- Began the daunting task of clicking the "follow" links on every one of the active threads.

10:01- Got 10 new e-mails

10:02- Got 3 new e-mails.

10:10- Got 2 new e-mails.

10:10-10:20- Read posts that caused e-mails.

Happenings

Miss Justice's Memorial will be held today (6/19) at 1pm in the Annex's garden.

Last night was the Roman themed event at the Novem.

Next week I plan to have the "Steamy Night in the Orient" event at the Novem, a geisha will be featured.

Ms Feuerstein, I understand you witnessed my twin brother Tyger Indigo's recent appearance in the Palisade region which I have reported in the main forum. I have heard that you approached my obviously unbalanced sibling with a mixture of curiosity, caution and kindless which I have no dount helped to prevent the situation from escalating into one of...i simply dread to think. Madam I will forever be grateful for your patience and humility, and invite any further observations as I attempt to track down my wayward twin.

Indeed Madam, when my brother found himself among the land of the living, some confusion must have ensued. I cannot help think that it was this confusion mixed with the tenderness that you and other onlookers showed towards him that ensured no harm befell anyone that night. I have made everyone aware of the situation in the main forum, however sadly no state of alarm has arisen and I fear for the inhabitants of New Babbage's continued safety as I await his next actions.

Greetings Ms Feuerstien - just wanted to let you know that the tubes which bring the internet into my home are busted - I doubt I will be offline for more than a few days, but thought I should send you a little message in case you were wondering where on earth I disappeared to.
Look forward to opening the shop soon - this downtime has at least given me a chance to work on some textures and sculpties.

Ms. Feuerstien, I was curious as to whether or not you still had any prims available on your plot in Babbage Palisade as you mentioned earlier. My SL partner and RL girlfriend is looking for some space to rez her modest airship, a mere 108 prims! Please IM me inworld or reply here on ning, I am certain we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement :)
