I had stopped by your home for orphaned robots early on in its existence. Indeed, your movers had not even arrived yet with your furnishings. I shall certainly have to drop by again and see if there are any of your rescues who may be of service to me.

Ah, again my poor memory has gotten the best of me. I believe you demonstrated the little floor scrubber fellow to us out near Miss Capalini's apple tree one day.

What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
The advice of a friend sent me to New Babbage and I have never once regretted acquiring property in the community.
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Eccentric Explorer, Inquisitive Inventor, Grand PoohBah of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Mechanicals *S*P*C*M*, and all around Gentleman in Blue.

Spyke, a History:

I am the only son of a prosperous Merchant Trader and was born at sea on the Triton, Flagship of my Father's company's line. It was a terrific storm at the time, St. Elmo's fire playing among the rigging and the sky near as bright as day from all the lightning. It is no wonder I have a severe case of wanderlust and an insatiable curiousity about all forms of high frequency energy.

I was quite fortunate to be given the very best education money could buy, having at my beck and call a series of tutors from among the cream of the crop of every field of knowledge. My Father is a firm believer in the value of knowledge of all sorts; although for my part, it has landed me into almost as much trouble as it has gotten me out of.

As a Case in Point; the unusual blue colouration of my hair is due to an experiment w ith Chronitons gone horribly awry. It was only by the fortuitous intervention of several Mechanical Intelligent Beings and my loyal manservant Shion, that I am alive to tell of it.

In gratitude for the saving of my life and such sanity as is currently left to me, I have dedicated my house in New Babbage to the welfare of Mechanicals. I hope many kind folk in New Babbage will stop by 21 Abney Park, Babbage Square, and will take one of my rescued Mechanicals into their home as a valued addition to their family, as they become available.

I can sometimes be found wandering about the world; either by use of my "Travelling Boots", or sailing my Brigantine, the Laughing Gryphon. I currently make my home on the island of Pengi in the Iaomai Archepelago. In part, because their primitive condition lowers the likelihood of my experiments catastrophically interfering with someone else's, Partly for the warm clime, and partly for the delightful and scantily clad servant class in that savage nation.

As time goes on, I shall be publishing my journals and offering them for the amusement of visitors to the second floor library and exploratorium of Laughing Gryphon House. There are already several books by noted authors available on the shelves near to the comfortable seating. It is my hope that any visitors should enjoy them as much as I do.

A Systematic Explore of Bay City. Pt. 1

Bay City - Moosehead
Beginning in Moose Beach, I step into the roadway before me into Bay City - Moosehead. There is a canal with a bridge over it and quite a number of attractive street lamps. I have heard that this city was constructed by MolePeople, and if so, they are quite skilled crafts..creatures.

I have discovered a pleasant park named Daley Park with both a road trolley and a canal trolley station. The road Trolley seems to travel the main thoroughfare named route 66.

The beginning of the End in Gaeta

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Civilization has found Gaeta's northern bounds. Land Barons with no sense of planning have carved up several northern regions without any sense of rhyme or reason that I can fathom.

I wonder how much longer Magellan's campsite will be safe.

Exploring Gaeta and searching for the lost Magellan Linden

I've seen no changes in the campsite, but there seem to be more trees now. I'm now using a protective suit fashioned from one of the dragons of the void.. or at least, that's what I have been told it is made of. It seems strangely... alive. I try not to think on it too much.

Spoke to Jeska Linden and Ayumi Cassini. Jeska Linden gave us some photos that suggest that Magellan made a new airship and flew away to Bay City. A solid breakthrough!

Exploring Gaeta and searching for the lost Magellan Linden

Discovered new bits of wreckage. It is almost as if Magellan's campsite is fading in from some alternate dimension.

was leghumped by a strange little gold creature named Ollj Oh

Saw Salazar Jack examining bits of wreckage, but din't have anything new to add.

Sat a bit with Ayumi Cassini and Willy Baroque. It was discovered that Linden keys cannot be used to retrieve Linden names, but can be used to retrieve online status.

Exploring Gaeta and searching for the lost Magellan Linden

Found Magellan's FIC badge at the camp, but no other changes noted.

Have walked off into the unvegetated areas to see what may be found. Current highest point 165M

I have seen a black box on the minimap and ghostly green dots where no people are. Very strange and mysterious.
