I wish to pass on some information to the citizens of New Babbage should they be concerned about the condition of our Mayor. The Clockwinder is presently ill, but improving thanks to the expert care of a member of our community.

Mr. YoYo Underby was kind enough to meet with me, and explained that he is tending to Mayor Tenk as well as Gilhooy Skute. New Babbage is indeed lucky to have a fine citizen such as Mr. Underby.

It has come to my attention that Mr. Skyler Gant is missing. Should anyone have information as to his whereabouts, please contact a member of the Militia.

It is feared that Mr. Gant may be in some peril. Young Mr. Gilhooy Skute reported that he received a note from an unidentified lad. This note is said to be from Skyler, and states that Skyler is injured and being held against his will in an unknown location.

Upon my return to New Babbage, I discovered a disturbing report waiting for me on my desk.

One of the members of the Militia, Bookworm Hienrichs, bravely confronted a kidnapper of small children. She was disarmed by the thug, and could easily have lost her life. I also have a first-hand account from Mara Razor, who similarly confronted the kidnapper, and claims the man has near super-human strength. The Murder-Mystery event is over, and it was quite a learning experience for me. The feedback I've received was positive, but I know that it could have been run much better.

I want to thank everyone who participated. The people who served as suspects did a fantastic job, and Kat has to be one of the best role-players in New Babbage. Everyone was very good about overlooking the many glitches as well.
