After 'visiting' Underby, I'm still not entirely convinced he doesn't have some sort of sinister plot going on, even though the militia see's hom as some paragon of virtue for 'caring for' the sickly clockwinder.

I've returned to Underby's, after Miss Macbain had mentioned he had acted oddly around her (as his cat, Sekhmet) and had taken a sample of fur. In my experience, there's some things that can be done with a person's hair, curses, could be a compnent needed in some ritual to bring Nyarlithotep into Babbage, etc, I'm not sure if it applies to cats, or shapeshifters, however, but I always beleive in take no chances.

The pengi as usual, have found their own way of doing things, rather than incinerating the leftover corpses like I asked, they loaded them into the cannon Miss Aya had built before leaving my employ.
the one intended to reach the moon. and then they launched the corpses, from the cannon, I'm assuming towards the moon....or maybe Mars...I'm not quite sure what trajectory it had last been left at.

I had been in my lab earlier yesterday. While I had all the remaining zombies, and corpses shipped back to Antartica for keeping, there had been some tests I had wanted to run. I've been testing Miss Frye's version of the Reality Enforcement Device, the device apparantly does work, on both magical creatures, as the comatose fey batteries show, and amulets as I tested it on assorted talismans and amulets, both had gone dead when in range,slowely regaining thier properties when taken back out of range.

Tonight I had been working in the lab. Dayafters cure for the zombie plague had given me an idea as to how to stabilize the serum, if I combine it with the cure, it's quite possible it would prevent the mutation of the zombie disease the current formula creates. With all the bad press right now with the plague, I've posted mega-pengi guards at all entrances to the plant to keep any potential arsonists from burning it down. I had gone into Clockaven last week to examine the ghost seen there myself, after spotting the incorporeal blighter, I returned to my airship to
wait for the activity of the living in the area to die down to retreive some equiptment. One of the crew dragged in the remains of a feral automoton, heavily damaged, apparantly it had attacked the pengi during their trip into clockhaven to look for fish.
