Breezy and I woke early this morning and went down to the study to sit by the fire and break our fast. Some wonderful hot coa coa and french toast with some bulging sausages did the trick and warmed us for the day.
Then the commotion started. The windows of the study were being pelted with snowballs. Bob. Aye, Bob was out and about early and making mischief already. And the lad was not alone. Aye, young master Django Yifu has returned from travels unknown. But it was not the lads versus the grown ups in this battle of snow, nay, Django sided with us to pelt Bob. We did have much fun laughing and tossing snow and running about when we heard shouts from the school house. Jimmy Branagh had made a discovery. It would seem that the Babbage Cuckoos have made their way to Wheatstone and have sent their mechanical man to place out one of their reading devices. Why they chose the school house, I cannot even begin to imagine. I do not see any apparent connection between to locations of these devices... the Imperial, the library (two there), the city wall, and now the school house. In any event, it would seem they are beginning to step up their activities.
