New Babbage

A Steampunk Community

Friday evening, Galactic Baroque and I were chatting, and eventually he expressed a wish for Beq Janus to join us to recall the strange events leading up to, and possibly explaining the mysterious details and events surrounding New Babbage's Cloud Angel. One by one, other Babbagers joined us and were caught up in Beq's compelling tale. A couple of fascinating hours passed quickly, in excellent company. I may not sleep well tonight for the nightmares that will surely come from this horrific saga, so very well told by Miss Janus this eve.

More pictures... come see who wandered in and stayed to listen.

also a little detail for others as this went on over three months from a plot the year before amazing stuff to witness and be part of where .. Only in New Babbage
This is a trailer for the recent freeform role play in Second Life at the Steampunk town of New Babbage. The Story unfolded over a 3 month period and was a sequel to a role play held in the previous year.
With so many good roleplayers in the town, there is always something going on :)

There you go, Breezy! Loki's video does appear. We watched that, and read the secret stories of Babbage (the readable book is still by lying open on the cafe patio rug, should anyone feel curious.) This was one complex tale, and it was compelling to have Beq recount the details for us - even Tinus, who was not yet arrived in Babbage, arrived midway through and stayed through thevery end. I daresay, though it may not all make sense to him, it helped ground him in a knowledge of such a deep, rich history. Babbage has this. It's all about the city.

What train? I see no train. *blinks, eyes hazed over* I only see a misty city with a story.

You mean the train that appears between 1:10 and 1:13? Never saw it. *grin*

*waves hand past Odnar's face* What train? You saw no train. Nell, you're asleep those three minutes, no telling what happens then. *wafts off*
