What has brought you to New Babbage and SL Steampunk?
I am a resident of Port Babbage and am exploring the aethernet materials available to us residents...Oh and i was wondering if Grandpa Stanley had been seen....
Could you provide a bit of background about yourself?
Django is the only grandson to Stanley Effingham, proprietor of Stanley's Emporium. Grandpa Stanley is off adventuring at the moment and has left young Django in sole charge of his premises.

Last seen in the dark southern continents, Django is unsure if his grandpa will ever return to the warm embrace of New Babbage.

Django is the last surviving member of the Yifu clan after his Ma and Pa were attacked by air kraken whilst traveling to New Babbage in their airship. Tatters of the balloon were found but the bodies were never recovered. Who knows what dark ends his beloved parents met. At age 5 Django was sent to the orphanage and it was only after 2 years that Grandpa Stanley discovered his whereabouts and took him in at the shop.

Django learned the trade at his grandfathers side and now aged 12 is acting as proprietor and manager of the Emporium.

Django is a free spirited young soul with a lust for life...despite his occasional sticky fingers he is an honest young gentleman who will stand up and fight for his friends.

Django's latest fascination is Monster Hunting and is head of the Monster Hunters of New Babbage..if anyone sees Squidface let him know!

Well that's a nasty lookin' thing an' no mistake! Lucky old me got an 'and through the post an' once I can get it embalmed I'll be stickin' it in the shop for all to see!

Yay...Grandpa's still goin'

Huzzah! I got another postcard from Grandpa. 'E's still goin' strong but it looks like 'e's 'ad a spot of bother. 'E looks pretty toasty next to the fire but I 'ope things pick up for 'im soon. The dark southern continents sound like a dangerous place so I am crossing all me fingers and toes for 'is safe return.

Well it looks like Grandpa is alive and well in 'is explorations of the southern continents. I gots a postcard from 'im the other day so I thought I share it with the good residents of New Babbage.
